Itinerary

This morning, we will pick you up from Marrakech and journey through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Our first destination is the village of Ait Benhaddou, a fortified ksar renowned for its stunning Kasbahs and as a backdrop for numerous films. After lunch, we will continue to Dades, passing through Ouarzazate, the palm groves of Skoura, and the Dades Valley, where we will spend our first night.

After breakfast, we will continue our Sahara desert trip, taking the road to drive around the colorful Berber villages to get to Tineghir with its beautiful palm grove. We will continue to the Gorge of todra, where we go on a trek along the canyons of about 300 m high, a preferred place of mountain climbers. Afterward, we will head to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, overnight at a local riad

After breakfast, you will make the large turn of the dunes of Merzouga the wandering deposit, the village of the Gnaoua, mines of MIFISS, the plates desert with the meeting of the Berber nomads of the desert, in the afternoon you will take a camel ride for 1 h30 min, while watching the sunset, to get to the camp in the oasis. Spending the night in the bivouac at Merzouga Sahara dunes under nomadic tents

After a quiet and memorable night in the dunes of Erg Chebbi sand, you can watch the sunrise over the dunes we go back with the camels to the hotel for breakfast and shower and then leave for Rissani to explore the tourist area including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm grove as a part of your exploration. Lunch in Nkoub, then continues to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Ouarzazate

After your breakfast, we will continue to Marrakech with a detour to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and visit the Kasbah el Glaoui and crossing the high Atlas mountain

Is There any Dress Code for Women Visiting Morocco?

No. You may wear whatever you feel comfortable in, we only have one exception on tours of the Mosque like Hassan II. To enter you would need to dress conservatively as you would in a church (no shorts, tanks tops, etc.).

As in any country you should use direction with your attire if you want to avoid unwanted attention.

What currencies can I exchange in Morocco?

US Dollars, Sterling and Euros are readily exchangeable. We recommend you take a mixture of cash and credit cards. Scottish bank notes and Australian dollar travellers cheques and cash are NOT normally accepted in Morocco.
