Explore the historic 17th-century kasbah in Telouet before continuing to Ouarzazate to admire the UNESCO-protected Ait Ben Haddou kasbah and the impressive kasbah Taourirt. Today marks the pinnacle of our 7-day desert odyssey. After a delightful breakfast at the riad, we set off for the Todgha Gorges, where panoramic views of Berber villages await, nestled above the valley. As you wander beneath the towering 300-meter-high cliffs, you'll feel the awe-inspiring presence of this natural wonder, a favorite haunt for rock-climbing enthusiasts. Our journey then carries us to Merzouga, the gateway to Sahara adventures. Along the way, we pause in Tinjdad for a sumptuous lunch, taking in the scenic landscapes of the Sahara Oasis in Erfoud and Er-Rissani.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, indulge in a glass of mint tea as you unwind in the riad, immersing yourself in the desert's tranquil embrace. Alternatively, take a leisurely stroll through Merzouga village to absorb its unique charm. As the day draws to a close, ascend the dunes barefoot to witness the ethereal spectacle of one of the world's most captivating sunsets. Spend the night in your desert camp, where the silence of the desert and the brilliance of the stars create an unforgettable atmosphere of serenity and wonder.

Early in the morning, we'll awaken you to witness a breathtaking sunrise, an experience that promises to leave a lasting impression. After enjoying breakfast at our camp, your journey to Fes will commence, taking you through the stunning Ziz Valley. Your first stop will be Erfoud, renowned for its fascinating fossils. Traverse the Ziz Gorges, navigating through rocky passages that lead to the Tafilalt oases via the Oued Ziz. Passing through Errachidia, you'll be treated to lunch and the warm hospitality of the Berber people. Continuing your adventure, you'll journey along the outskirts of the Cedar Forest to Azrou, a town nestled atop a steep hill surrounded by cedar forests, home to the endangered Barbary Apes.
Next, you'll venture to Ifrane, a meticulously planned and modern city that exudes a Swiss ambiance nestled in the Middle Atlas region. As the day unfolds, your journey will lead you to Fes, where you'll spend the night in our Hotel/Riad.

After breakfast at the hotel, join our certified local guide for a walking excursion through the enchanting Fes medina. Transport yourself to another era as you navigate the labyrinthine network of winding alleyways, where donkeys and mules traverse the narrow streets. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the bustling market stalls, where an array of spices and perfumes tantalize the senses. Discover the ancient leather tanneries, where skilled artisans employ centuries-old techniques. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner at one of the authentic local restaurants within the medina, before retiring for the evening at your hotel.

After breakfast, our journey will begin as we head towards Chefchaouen, known affectionately as the "Blue City." Situated in the Rif Mountains of northwest Morocco, this popular tourist destination exudes hospitality and charm. Renowned for its traditional architecture, Chefchaouen mesmerizes visitors with its medina adorned in white and blue hues. Wander leisurely through the maze-like streets, immersing yourself in the vibrant markets showcasing unique local handicrafts. Chefchaouen's picturesque setting amidst the Rif Mountains offers endless opportunities for photography enthusiasts. You'll spend the night in Chefchaouen, soaking in its tranquil ambiance.

Following breakfast in Chefchaouen, we set off on our journey towards Rabat. After a four-hour drive, we arrive in the capital city of Morocco. Our exploration commences with visits to prominent landmarks such as Bab Challah, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, one of the main gates of the royal palace, and the Oudaya Kasbah. Continuing our route, we head towards Casablanca, where you'll spend the night at the hotel.

In the morning, we begin our journey with a visit to the iconic Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Casablanca. After a three-hour drive, we arrive in Marrakech, where you'll have leisure time to explore the city's authentic charm. Discover the city's historical and cultural gems, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. If you have a flight scheduled for the day, we'll transfer you to the airport, or we can drop you off at your hotel in Marrakech.

Is Morocco a Safe Destination?

Morocco has one of the lowest crime rates in the world and, compared to the US and Europe, is considered a very safe destination. Is There any Dress Code for Women Visiting Morocco?

No. You may wear whatever you feel comfortable in, we only have one exception on tours of the Mosque like Hassan II. To enter you would need to dress conservatively as you would in a church (no shorts, tanks tops, etc.).

As in any country you should use direction with your attire if you want to avoid unwanted attention.

What currencies can I exchange in Morocco?

US Dollars, Sterling and Euros are readily exchangeable. We recommend you take a mixture of cash and credit cards. Scottish bank notes and Australian dollar travellers cheques and cash are NOT normally accepted in Morocco.
